ONE Year Foundation Performance Artist Diploma

The One Year Foundation Musical Theatre Course is to give students technical training in Acting, Singing and Dance over three terms. It enables the student to develop strengths in both technique and performance as well as building stamina and confidence in preparation for gaining entry onto a Professional 3 Year Musical Theatre Diploma Course.

In the Dance Department students will study Classical Ballet, Jazz Technique, Contemporary Technique, Tap and Musical Theatre Styles.  In the Acting Department students will study Improvisation, Character Development, Text-Based Work and Stage Craft. In the Music Department students will learn Technical Singing and Ensemble Singing in a variety of styles by various composers. Individual Singing Lessons are provided.

The course is a full-time, 3 day intensive course from Monday to Wednesday inclusive giving students the opportunity to take on a part-time job to assist with fees or digs if necessary.

A registration fee of £285.00 (non refundable) is payable on acceptance of the place offered.  Fees per term : £1500.00 Autumn term, £1500.00 Spring term, £1500.00 Summer term – Total per year £4500.00.

The Autumn term fees are payable in advance on 1st September. The Spring and Summer term fees can be paid in 6 monthly instalments by standing order (January – June inclusive) or paid at the beginning of the Spring and Summer terms.  Payments made by BACS transfer.
